Shelley T. Registered: 30 Jan 2012 Posts: 1	I have a question? Can anyone help me out? When I was pregnant with my 3rd child I had premature rupture of my membranes at 25 weeks. My other pregnancies were uneventful and I went overdue! In normal pregnancies the chance of this happening is about 3%. Can anyone tell me what the chances are in subsequent pregnancies after you have had this happen once? I know they are higher but I can't really seem to find out by how much? Also what kind of precautions should be taken if we decide to try for another baby?

Your doctor (or other health care provider) will talk to you about those that should be avoided altogether, dramatically reduced, and/or carefully considered during pregnancy.
